Gothic elegance
Due to the state of today’s economy I got few friends in SL that are feeling down as they can not shop as much like they used to - so it was time to do some cheering up. I started to clear out my 80K + inventory and giving away all my NO COPY items.
My shopping habits have certainly changed since my early days, not only I do not buy all the fat packs but I also refuse to buy no copy items as well, unless I have to. They are really no use to me, in inventory of my size and with a habit of making outfits all no copy items get easily lost. I can not justify paying money for item I would only wear once.
In my cleaning frenzy I stumbled across some old designers I used to visit when I first started SL – one of them was X2. I think the quality of certain items of clothing from X2 stood the test of time pretty well – like these pants. They paired perfectly with Christmas gift I received today from Solange.
I also spent time clearing massive amounts of hair, skins and eyes that have aged beyond belief. Items that I never wore nor have intention in wearing. The only time I wished certain items were transfer, although I am not the one to hand down items I would not wear myself.
After getting tired of trashing and handing out I decided to try new Damiani skin. For me there was something definitely moody and dark about this version that I could not resist of interpreting it in that way. There was something Gothic about this hair from Lag Designs and when pairing it with my new eyes (only available with this shape at this stage) and skin from Damiani this look was born that I could only describe as Gothic elegance.
