The ways we feature our designers

- MAD Image – daily posts, designer interviews/special articles, editorials for magazines

- MADesigns Shapes & HAIR – we use items to style shapes and include your landmark & item information in styling cards that customer would use to complete the look – much better way to increase sales than any blog can do, since large number of Second Life players spend most of their time in-world when shopping for fashion as well as being in our style cards is permanent advertisement for your business.

- MAD Agency group shows – we have quarterly free shows for which we source designers to participate in.  To obtain more information on what MAD Agency can do for your fashion enterprise go here.

 

Presentation style

- High quality photography and poses are used in creation of each style. You are welcome to use any of the images for promotion within store and group as long as you link it back to MAD Image blog.

- We like to shoot on complimenting plain backgrounds so to allow clothing to stand out – our editorials usually explore more creative use of props and backgrounds.

- We feature all designers – big and small. If your product meets our quality standards and is original that is all we care about.

- Finally, we would not feature an item just because it was sent to us. As much as we appreciate your generous gesture in hope to stay true to ourselves we will create outfits that have authenticity and appeal, something that we would like to wear not something for the sake of a post. This would ensure that our passion does not get overshadowed by duty.

 

Sending items

- Items can be sent to Maddox DuPont, Kirk Claymore and female to Thalia Jie – this would ensure items are features not only on MAD Image blog but also in-world. If you any of our MAD Image stylists you can also send items to them as well.

- Send an IM to at least 1 person advising that you are sending your items.

- Mark folder with !MAD Image and your business name – example: !MAD Image – MECHANISM (exclamation mark will ensure that your folder is listed on the top of our busy inventory).

- Ensure your folder contains the following: landmark to your main store, original vendor with photo (please place vendors in a prim as there is limit of 42 items per folder) and if you like a brief history/designer statement (that we can use in our posts).

- We prefer the following permissions: copy/mod/no transfer – this also allows us to fit items properly and certainly will ensure your creations are used on more than one occasion as they will not get lost.

- We prefer that your items are sent on all layers – jacket, shirt, undershirt, pants and underpants. This will help with layering and combining of clothing which is what we and your customers do.

- We also prefer that your items are properly named – example: MADesigns – Woolen jumper – red.

PLEASE NOTE: Last 3 points are guaranteed to increase your sales and popularity of your items – although we are simply stating our own preference and experience here, we highly recommend you make these changes for lasting success of your fashion business. Inclusion in Designer Directory

Although our Designer Directory contains content creators that meet our rigorous quality standards it is impossible to list everyone all at once. If you are not listed in our directory please do not get offended – just send a note card to Maddox DuPont with landmark to your store and if your greatness has been overlooked we would certainly add you.
