It is a great privilege to be a part of the MADesigns Team. Revitalize? Personally, my goal is to be able to impart life to the new people I am going to meet. The outfit I am wearing is a very relaxed, bright-colored, and suiting for a stroll in the park.
Style tips: Playing with “Complimentary Colors” on outfits. Male styling can be challenging when it comes to styling with colors without looking too bright or too dim. Just always remember to check a color wheel for color contrasts, so you will know which colors to match altogether. (example: Green Jacket + Orange Tie = perfect contrast).
It just takes practice…but it’s worth it.

I’ve Already Moved On
Leather Bound
If like me you love leather and want to step out of the typical black leather biker image, why not brighten your look and venture into other colours that you wouldn’t normally consider. This leather bound style is great for the casual spring nights.
STYLE TIPS: Mix and match textures together to compliment each item, as shown with the line creases of the pants to the lines on the jacket. Drawing rich textures together in a look is just as important as combining the right colour variants and shades.

Windrider…
With Men’s Wear Fashion Week well under way, there are many new collections being released to the public. Items such as this jacket and shirt from well known fashion house Gizza paired with shorts from the first line soon to be released by Nyu are a great combination for the spring and summer seasons.

Jump into spring with great new items being released daily from your favorite designers.

Revenge Of The Nerd
The revenge of the nerd is back with patterns and bowtie, but if like me you tend to shy away from patterns in RL, then SL can be a great platform to experiment and practice patterns on.
STYLE TIPS: Start with simple patterns that you are comfortable with and find common traits between the patterns, like colour, pattern shapes or directional flow. Use plain colours between each item to help combine the individual patterned items, e.g belt, socks and jacket in this style. The Nerd look is never short of a bag or book but remember to round of the finishing touches with a pair of geeky glasses.
Denim Light
KMADD is incredibly excited to welcome Boe Cortes to MAD Image. Boe is known for his amazing fashion spreads in Avenue Magazine and his extensive modeling work. Boe is also a wonderful portrait artist [check out his Flickr page] and an all around nice guy. We are so proud and look forward to seeing what the latest member of our team brings to the table!

=======================================================================
For my first post I thought I would keep it simple and light with denim. It’s one of my favourite materials in rl and sl, but living in a big city with all the travelling and hectic life style, it’s not always practical to step away from dark shades to light colours. Mix and matching denim can sometimes be tricky if your items are from various stores with different wash effects.
STYLE TIPS: Mix and match colours that are from similar shade variants. When mixing different denims from different store brands, match items with high contrasting colours.
