This outfit started from Paper Couture’s bold navy blue and white striped jacket as the bold high prim shoulder pads in this jacket are reminiscent of 1940’s women’s jackets. With a little bit of modifying this is how the outfit was put together.
Paper Couture’s jacket as a “shirt” layer, Ingenue’s white shirt and red tie as an “underwear layer” and the pretty licorice black skirt from Little Rebel. The high waist top of the skirt comes as a jacket layer, so you’ll need to go into “Appearance Mode” > “Jacket” > “Jacket Open Front” and move the slider a few notches down to open the front of the ruched skirt to reveal the complete bodice line of the jacket.
Of course, cherry red lipstick and what 1940’s look would be complete without a wonderful wide brimmed hat.
