Black and Conservative but with details!

Life on the grid sometimes means that you might have to attend a business meeting or a job interview. You need a conservative business look that says you’re here to do business but not so conservative that it looks like your auditioning for a funeral directors job.

The classic business suit, of a pencil skirt and jacket in black is a timeless, classic business look. But there’s a trick to wearing black well, look for the designers who pay real attention to detail.

With this black jacket from Muism, the details include: rolled sleeves that show off the cuff of the white shirt, a single gold button, prim shoulder and collar details, and the attention to details is so immaculate you can even see the scrunching around the jacket sleeves at it’s rolled up edge.

The skirt from Mimikri has a linen like texture which contrasts well with the jacket and a detailed hemline. The white shirt from Muism, with it’s prim raised collar adds a contemporary feel to the whole outfit.

It’s all about the details – a touch of gold with the Armani belt and gold earrings to match the gold button on the Muism jacket, black pumps with a high shine to break up the all black look and a classic handbag for a finishing touch – and your good to go and show your business style.
