Casablanca Opening

Great friend of mine Milla Michinaga ~ style guru and now designer as well, has opened a store at Casablanca today so I decided to join the festivities and support both her and Mr Mills (former MAD Agency Model) who was opening his sim today ~ Casablanca.

I never worry about if I am wearing latest releases when I am putting the outfits together. What is more important is that it looks good and it suits my character and personal style. If you are good in dressing well then even items that have been in your inventory for ages will look new and fresh if combined in the right way.

Here you have FNKY Jacket paired with recent release from Redgrave – tux pants and Muism Shirt and tie. Simple!

STYLE TIP

As much as it feels tempting to put a belt buckle to hide the gap avoid it. Pants with no belt will always make you look like you fit what you wear perfectly and at busy events reduces the prim count as well.

Don’t forget to create shirt layer so to give the sleeves volume. You can do this in appearance by clicking on shirt > create new shirt > and setting the following values > sleeve length 96 > collar front and back 0 > shirt fit 1 > sleeve looseness 5. You may also like to reduce the sleeve length on your jacket but only slightly if at all. We also need to create underpants layer to bridge the gap between jacket and pants.

Ensure that you tint both of underpants and shirt in pale pink so to create the illusion that it is one shirt we are seeing.
