Inspiration for great style can originate almost anywhere, and taking inspiration from art often brings out the artist in each of us. Layering carefully chosen items and incorporating them into a unique take on the loose fitting Suede halfcoat from Ce Cubic Effect transformed this look into that of SoHo artist out for a stroll… perhaps looking for inspiration of his own.

At first look what we have here starts out as basic blue jeans and a T-shirt, but the well worn ‘Vintage’ jeans don’t stray into typical shredded denims are a sound choice, these by Argrace. The Tee itself plays up an artistic screen printed image splashed with a hit of red paint and more red follows with a great looped scarf from Hoorenbeek and red framed shades by primOptic.
The choppy hap-hazzard hair from MMS called Silvio worn to great effect with the Beijing Suntan (face1) skin, also from MMS, and MADesigns SOUL eyes in Pale Grey, all play into the relaxed art guy feel. Some accessories that complete the look like a wrist cuff and bracelets (details below) give our SoHo casual look a nice finish.
