High Fashion

Monochromatic –  done before, done often, but still an easy way to dress if you know how to work with the textures and details of the garments you pull into a look.  For a style that shows of your individuality and a hint of high fashion, go with classics like charcoals and blacks.  The starting point for this look was the great Afghan stole from :sey, if you only grab one scarf this season – this is the one.

Muism button trousers in black get a kick from Combat Boots by Abyss, while a great pouch also from :sey (who has a fair share of my Linden $ lately ) is a handy way to keep a few items close by, when you are out and about and looking great. Black Shirt and Blazer from Random finish out this great monochrome look, just don’t forget to grab some opulent shades from Paper Couture as you head out the door.

  1. Ah, Volcom. I love teh Monochromatic look and I sport it a lot myself. You’re right about the key to monochromatic being textures. It’s all about the details with a look like this.
