Sometimes you find a piece of virtual clothing that just makes you drop you jaw in amazement at its texture and design. That’s how I felt when I tried on the new release “Daida” outfit from Bare Rose. The jacket, with its leather texture, shape and embossed leather dragon decoration is just dazzling.

The “Daida” jacket is a long coat/skirt with ankle length prims attached to the jacket for the skirt, but I wanted a more contemporary and versatile look. It was easy to mod the jacket by removing the prim skirt bits.
Here’s how:
- Rezz the jacket inworld [don’t wear it – in my experience deleting bits can only be done while the object is rezzed inworld]
- Unlink the skirt prim from the rest of the jacket by going into edit mode and select “Edit Linked Parts” and click on the skirt prim which should then be highlighted in blue.
- Click on the “Tools” menu on top of your screen, and click on “Unlink” – the prim should change from blue to yellow.
- To remove it, right-click and choose Delete or, select it and press and release the Delete key and it should disappear
