Make Sculpties load better

Debugging your LOD settings is something that can and will make all your
sculpts hold better.
>>>>>>>>>>> HOW TO
Show the “Advanced” menu with Ctrl-Alt-D, or Opt-Ctrl-D on a Mac.
Select “debug settings” near the bottom in advance menu.
In the blank space, copy and paste the word:  RenderVolumeLODFactor
I recommend setting it as high as 4 to get all your sculpts looking great.
NOTE: Unlike increasing your draw distance, this will NOT create lag for yourself
or those around you! And it will improve the look of all sculpts.

Also…

There is currently SL viewer bug which is causing sculpty hair prims to disappear.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the hair you purchased and all prims are there, you just may not be able to see them if you are too zoom in.

SOLUTION

Vote for JIRA so that Linden Lab can treat this bug as a priority.

Current Viewer Fix (Second Life 1.23.4)

1) Advanced menu (ctrl/alt/d)

2) De bug settings

3) type in top window “rendermaxNodeSize”

4) change number at bottom to “8192”

or

Download previous versions of SL viewer which do not have this problem.

We have tested version 1.22.11 and this problem does not occur with it.
