Steel Blue…

As I was searching for something to wear to the finals for the upcoming Mr. Virtual World next weekend, I put this look together in one of my favorite colors: blue. This took some work as pieces have been torn apart and put back together with pieces from other outfits that have various pieces attached to them

For my first post I thought I would keep it simple and light with denim. It’s one of my favourite materials in rl and sl, but living in a big city with all the travelling and hectic life style, it’s not always practical to step away from dark shades to light colours. Mix and matching denim can sometimes be tricky if your items are from various stores with different wash effects.

STYLE TIPS: Mix and match colours that are from similar shade variants. When mixing different denims from different store brands, match items with high contrasting colours.

Winter Wonderland…

I recently posted “Judge” that contained some of the same items I wore to this year’ MAD Agency Christmas Ball shown here in this post.  I either edited the pieces by changing the color or added parts from other outfits or simply wore a different color.  I wanted to show how you could use the same items in an outfit and can change them around to create a completely different look. They also include a shorts option and belt with and without headphones and an iPhone. By selecting items with many options, you can choose the ones that best fit your needs.

While basic black will forever be a wardrobe staple, adding in a few more shades can spice up your wardrobe and add interest to your look.

Somewhere Down in Texas…

When I look South and see the storm clouds roll, on their way to old Mexico, I don’t wanna be alone. And the rays of light through my Shiner Bock bottle make me wanna turn the key and put down the throttle and get lost down 35. When I get too tied down by the ties that bind, seems like I’m never going to find the time to do what I need: that’s to find me a place where I can think, talk about love, and laugh and drank and there’s someone there who cares. Cause no matter how big the storms, I know I can find me a place that’s warm: the sun is shinning somewhere in Texas. I hope its shinning on her, somewhere down in Texas.
