Twisted Alice

With the release of the new Alice in Wonderland movie coming up soon, there’s been a spate of Lewis Carroll themed items about the grid. I am a great fan of designers who take a flavor and create an outfit, rather than the usual ‘Blonde-Alice-In-Blue-And-White-Dress’ stuff. This glorious creation from Vanilla Sola makes me very happy indeed.

Flights of Fancy

Sometimes, when you wear an outfit it captures your imagination. The aptly named Trade Winds from Icing does that for me. It’s a gown that should be worn on the deck of a luxury line cruiser as you watch the sun set over a mysterious horizon.

Experimenting with Colors

The simple elegance of the neutral colors of black, white and gray will always be my favorite colors, but recently I’ve spent a lot of time experimenting with different jewel color combinations thanks to the stunning range of prim belts available from M * A * ii * K * I and the color range of oversized mens’ shirts from Muism.
