While winter has never been one of my favorite seasons, one of the benefits that cold weather brings is the arrival of winter clothes. I love to capture the feel of the season in SL by utilizing all of my clothing layer options. Layers help give an outfit depth and allow us to incorporate so many varying looks into an ensemble. Throw a roaring fire into the equation and you can stay warm no matter how cold it looks outside!

Cocktail Bar
Ah, the beach!
The sand, the sun, the breeze, but also the bars… and their ever so versatile bartenders.
Graciously maneuvering through the maze of tables and designers chairs. Noting down an order, serving nibbles with your drinks or busy creating his next masterpiece of a cocktail.
In a place where presentation is key, a bartender must excell in both making each cocktail a feast for eye and taste bud, but also be exactly that himself. With grace, with showmanship… and above all: with ease.
And when he slips out of sight into the back room for more ice, or 5 minutes of quiet time… that’s where the combination of alcohol and eyecandy takes a run with your imagination.
Oh, yeah… the beach.

The “pockety” denims from Fishy Strawberry are a nice alternative to traditional blue jeans, they add some dimension and it’s always great to work on a style that shows a nice balance between casual and urban inspiration.

I couldn’t find a chainsaw for this outfit, but I’d like to say this before we go on… someone make one, because despite loving the Primitive Design baseball bat, I secretly wanted a chainsaw… or an axe. ^_^
But I digress, Maddox dared me one evening as he logged off to catch 5 minutes of sleep, to “look evil” by the time he got back. Well… I don’t know about evil, but I think I definitely hit the “unhealthy appetite for skinning inner-city students alive on their summer vacation breaks as they stumble innocently into my run-down hilly billy country house, where by I fashion them into nice lamp shades and other furnishings using various parts of their anatomy before eating that fat kid who was in the wheel chair” nail on the head.
Sorry about the mess… there was a fashion massacre.
